An introduction to climate change in 60 seconds

While the actual science can be accurately simplified to a 45 second video, the arguments of the climate deniers are varied and specific, usually including cherry-picked actual statistics or distorted ‘facts’ that must be answered one at a time, after which another is chosen which must again be refuted, and the process continues until the we are tempted to lose interest, concluding that the science is still not settled. 

Those deniers are a good example of a rule of life, as read in Sydney Harris, a newspaper columnist from the 1960s: “You can’t reason someone out of a position they didn’t reason themselves into.”
