Outlook Land Design Inc. is a Comox Valley based consulting firm providing services in Landscape Architecture, Land Planning and Civil Engineering. Outlook was incorporated in 2000.

Firm principal, Timothy O’Brien, P.Eng. BCSLA, is a professional civil engineer and registered landscape architect with over twenty years of experience gained in local government and with major multidisciplinary consulting firms across BC. Mr. O’Brien’s dual credentials in landscape architecture and civil engineering promotes innovation in site aesthetics, habitat preservation, landscape restoration and recreational opportunities while providing the core site engineering requirements.
Outlook’s technical staff provide top quality cad drafting services. In addition Outlook has longstanding associations with complementary professions in the legal surveying, biological, geotechnical, transportation, architectural and planning fields.
Outlook typically uses a consultative approach to develop initial concepts for comment by the client and/or user group. This approach can include public open houses and other public processes where a wide spectrum of input is desired. Facilitative techniques are often employed to assist clients or user groups in clarifying their requirements in an efficient and positive manner. Our construction experience assists in the development of realistic cost estimates and scheduling timelines. Construction services typically include start up meetings, periodic field reviews as well as substantial and deficiency reviews during project completion.
