Come with Me - A Visit to a Truly Sustainable City in the Year 2032
This is an invitation to participate in the creation of a future reality in which Vancouver has become the greenest, most sustainable city in the world.
Guy Dauncey is writing a major new work of creative non-fiction in which a visitor from overseas (Patrick) uses deep hypnosis to make a four-day visit to Vancouver in the year 2032.
Patrick’s goal is to learn what the city is like and how they did it, so that he can bring the knowledge back to the present to help us address the enormous problems we face today.
Can you help to develop this future? Imagine that miracles of social and political change have happened. When you look 20 years ahead, what do you see?
- Your home
- Your neighbourhood
- Food and farming
- The local economy
- The Downtown Eastside
- Affordable housing

- The media
- Health care
- Spirituality and religion
