Nelson Premiere of the movie 'FUEL'

Chapter Event
Mar 20 2010 - 7:00pm

This is the Nelson premiere of the award-winning sustainable energy documentary 'FUEL,' hosted by the West Kootenay Ecosociety. As with 'The Age of Stupid' this past November, the film will be followed by a panel/audience dialogue including Jennifer Stephenson from 'Jenergy Technologies' (www.jenergy.ca), Douglas Hurst, chairman of Selkirk Power (www.selkirkpower.com), Dan Woynillowicz--director, strategy and external relations for the Pembina Insitute (www.pembina.org) and writer/investigative reporter Mark Nykanen (marknykanen.com).

FUEL is showing in 7 BC communities in March 2010 ahead of general theatrical release, thanks to a partnership between BC Sustainable Energy Association and Cowichan Energy Alternatives.

FUEL is a riveting film about one man's investigation into alternative energy sources to fossil fuels, with rave reviews from more than just the environmental community. I hope you can come see this fascinating and inspiring film! Check out the movie website at: http://thefuelfilm.com for more information about the film, and reviews like the one below:

"UNABASHEDLY INTIMATE"...Thanks to an informative, buoyant tone and the director'sown restless intelligence, the film preaches to the unconverted with passion, energy and graphics so clear that they would make Al Gore weep all over his PowerPoint." - Jeannette Catsoulis, NEW YORK TIMES
