Building Sustainability: A Green Homes and Renovations Conference

Community Event
Jan 29 2010 (All day) to Jan 30 2010 (All day)

Building Sustainability: A Green Homes and Renovations Conference, is a two-day program of live and web-based presentations, panel discussions and workshops in Kimberley on Friday and Saturday, January 29 and 30, 2010.

Building Sustainability will offer a range of courses and workshops, covering everything from materials and design to green building rating systems and sustainable energy systems, and will feature an exciting roster of speakers with varied expertise in green building.

The goal of Building Sustainability is to build capacity in our community in green building by strengthening the knowledge base of those who are working in green building, introducing those who are not familiar with green building to the field, and building links between local tradespeople, designers, builders, suppliers, city officials and related businesses, as well as to educate the general public about the opportunities to be found in green building for providing healthy, energy efficient, comfortable and beautiful homes, whether they be new or renovations.

Check the conference home page often as we regularly update information on registration, the conference schedule, workshops and presenters. If you have any questions or would like to participate, contact Wildsight Kimberley / Cranbrook by email or phone at 250-427-2535 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              250-427-2535      end_of_the_skype_highlighting.
