Fish and Wildlife in a Changing Climate: Options for Future Management Practices

The symposium will examine new findings regarding potential climatic impacts on fish and wildlife in British Columbia, and explore next steps for opportunities to minimize adverse effects on fish and wildlife resulting from climate change and human use. Outcomes from this event will include increased knowledge, coordination, and cooperation among participants to collaboratively address climate change adaptation for fish and wildlife in B.C.

This event is being sponsored by the Environmental Studies Department of the University of Victoria, the Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium (PCIC), FORREX, the BC Wildlife Federation, and MITACS (Mathematics of Information Technology and Complex Systems national NCE).
