The Accountability Project: Sustainability Practitioner Workshops

Community Event
Jan 13 2009 (All day) to Jan 16 2009 (All day)

Issues of corporate social responsibility and sustainability that were once peripheral to business success and incidental to key decision-making are now becoming critically important. Expectations for business and other organizations to be accountable for their "triple-bottom line" performance has never been greater, and yet many managers do not yet fully grasp what these issues are and how to manage them for results.

This challenging 4-day workshop series focuses on; social responsibility core concepts and implementation, sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement and sustainability assurance, and enables participants to acquire the necessary skills, tools and competencies required for today's sustainability / CSR practitioner.

These four complementary workshops highlight the leading standards in each area: ISO 26000, GRI, AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard and the newly released AA1000 Assurance Standard.

Workshop co-trainers David Simpson and Susan Todd have a wealth of practical experience to share, to help you build your capacity in these critical business areas.
