David Oliver is an accomplished executive and social entrepreneur, with over 15 years of international experience as a leading expert in smart technologies, energy management, and strategic planning. David is a co-founder of the Smart Cities Committee under CENELEC tasked with developing the initial regulatory framework across the European Union, as well as an opinion leader in smart buildings, having co-authored the first official training program in smart buildings in his home country, Spain. He has participated in numerous international forums and media as leading expert in smart cities and technologies.
Over the past decade, David has lead teams and major initiatives across North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa, more recently moving back to Vancouver, where he shifted his focus on working on large-scale initiatives that bring a better future for the next generation. In 2018 he co-founded Greenlines Technology with the goal of transforming the way people move around cities, globally. Greenlines aims to improve people's lives while significantly reducing the environmental impact of personal transportation. David is also the co-founder of Scius Innovations, a Vancouver-based Building Information Management company, provides strategic advice to clients on major initiatives, and sits on the board of WATS, a non-profit organization focused on empowering people to make meaningful change around the world.
