Anaïssia Franca is a Research Strategy Manager at CUTRIC. She leads the modelling and simulation efforts on the Pan Canadian Electric Bus Demonstration and Integration Trial (Phase I and II), the Pan-Canadian Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Demonstration & Integration Trial (Phase I), the National Smart Vehicle Demonstration Project and the Natural Gas Mobility Innovation Project. She developed an energy consumption tool that can assess how much electricity or hydrogen is required to power the vehicles on specific transit routes, how much it costs and how much emissions can be reduced compared to deploying diesel buses. Anaïssia holds a Masters of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and an honors B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Victoria (BC). Now based out of Montreal, she also assists in the Quebec office growth.
