Rob Baxter

Co-Founder of Vancouver Renewable Energy

Rob Baxter is a co-founder and principal at Vancouver Renewable Energy which installed the first grid-tie photovoltaic system in the city of Vancouver and has since installed over 260 kW of photovoltaic throughout BC during the past 12 years . He is also the president of Solshare Energy, the first cooperatively owned community solar project in BC.  

He has served as president of SPEC (Society Promoting Environmental Conservation)  and has taught a course on solar energy for Langara College Continuing Studies. Rob has an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.

Rob has appeared on CityTV, Global TV, CTV and CBC discussing sustainability and energy issues.
