Katherine has more than ten years of research, policy development and planning experience. Katherine has conducted extensive research on leading local government policies. She is managing the development of several long term strategies to lay out the roadmap for super-efficient new and existing buildings, products and equipment regulations. Her current focus is on facilitating widespread adoption of advanced building benchmarking and reporting practices. She has designed innovative policy analysis framework, tools and resources to help communities achieve their energy and GHG reduction goals. With her advice, several urban and rural communities have designed, adopted and implemented groundbreaking and effective energy efficiency policies.
