Tara Nakashima

Tara Nakashima completed her Bachelor of Commerce at UVIC where she was first introduced to concepts such as sustainable decision making and sustainable communities where economical, social, and environmental issues are all considered equal and dependant. She continued her education in Ireland where she completed a Certificate in Renewable Energy. Tara now teaches yoga and works for her family's development and construction business where they strive to contribute to a sustainable community.

Okanagan Chapter Turns Heads with their Electric Vehicle Floats!

For the third time running, BCSEA Okanagan entered into the Vernon Winter Fair Parade this year. With this year's theme being Mardi Gras, they turned heads with their floats of 8 electric vehicles and their costumes, decked out in beads, glitz and glam.
