Masha Doubrovskaia joined BCSEA as a volunteer to meet like-minded people and to learn more about how to make British Columbia more sustainable in its environmental impacts. A recent graduate of Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources & Conservation from UBC, Masha has been passionate about protecting the environment since first finding out about the massive garbage patches in the ocean as a child! She has volunteered elsewhere doing shoreline cleanups, recycling/waste audits on her campus, helping out at QUEST Food Exchange and other initiatives.
Outside of volunteering, Masha works as a promotional representative for various clients, and keeps healthy by running, doing her favourite barre classes and acrobatics! She strives to keep learning more about her passions of renewable energy and sustainable environmental practices to make her impact in this world.
