Kamloops Chapter Steering Committee Meeting

Deb Alore, Chapter Chair
Thursday, October 14, 2021

In September the Kamloops Chapter attempted its first in-person Steering Committee meeting since the beginning of the Pandemic.  Some members were keen to have a “real” meeting so we attempted a hybrid meeting with about 6 physically distanced and masked participants meeting at the Thompson Rivers University Student Union Boardroom with others Zooming in to join us.  We welcomed a few new folks who had reached out to us over the summer along with a returning member.  We also missed some committee members who have moved on to other pursuits.  This fall marks a point of change for our Chapter as we consider projects for the new year and assume new roles for our Steering Committee members.

We wish to welcome one new Steering Committee Member, Adam Yereniuk who we are excited to have joined the team.  Adam’s background in sustainable energy will most certainly be an asset to our Chapter.  Deb Alore has agreed to take on some of the administrative responsibilities of Chapter Chair, a position vacated with the retirement of long-term volunteer, Cheryl Kabloona.
