BCSEA'S OKANAGAN CHAPTER AND THE CITY OF VERNON - VIRTUAL MEETING
On April 4, the Okanagan Chapter, BCSEA, hosted an engagement between our task force, the City of Vernon, and members of the public. Bill Darnell and Ed Wilson represented the City of Vernon's Climate Action Plan committee. They shared details about their plans for renewable energy implementation with the heavy influence of achieving a sustainable, resilient community as soon as possible. As a chapter, we are proud to share the Okanagan with such proactive cities like Vernon! Our chapter has also been working on our Sustainable Energy Task Force report and could use help collating the data. If this might be of interest to you, please contact us. This event and others over the past few years have shown that we are surrounded by advanced thinkers, local doers, and cities moving towards sustainable energy. well into achieving readiness at a whole new level.
We look forward to continuing to facilitate the conversation, especially advocating for the massive introduction of renewables across their spectrum of applicability. How are we going to do this? How can you help? Be in touch to share.
To all of our overall health!
