Resilient Communities Canada

Resilient Communities Canada is a non profit society governed by a diverse volunteer Board of Directors.

Our purposes are:

· To foster knowledge of and appreciation for sustainable community development via public events, research and dissemination of findings, and direct action.

· To carry out activities and programs which encourage and enhance local economies and food security, civic inclusion, and/or the ecologically sensible consumption of resources.

· To educate the public about climate change and energy issues, and to encourage community participation in engaging with these issues constructively.

· To support and build the capacity of other community-based groups in the above areas, via knowledge sharing, the coordination of learning events, and social enterprise supports.
