The Juan De Fuca Cycling Coalition is a local chapter of the BC Cycling Coalition. Its' goals are to promote safe cycling via education and improved infrastructures, as well as to promote the health and enjoyment of cycling as recreation and sustainable transportation. Based in Sooke, the organization covers issues and projects from the Western Communities of Victoria to Port Renfrew and up to the edge of the Cowichan Valley.

Our goals:

  • promote healthy, safe and enjoyable cycling for people of all ages through education of cyclists and motorists
  • improve cycling infrastructures by working with local governments and organizations
  • increase the use of cycling as sustainable transportation as well as recreation
