Canadian Home Builders Association - Central Interior
Canadian Home Builders Association Central Interior is a not for profit member-driven industry organization comprised of builders, developers, suppliers and professionals related to the home building industry. At close to 200 members, CHBA CI is one of the largest Locals in the province.
CHBA supports and promotes ‘green’ building and provides training and recognition in their “Built Green” home building program.
CHBA CI and partner Thompson Rivers University builds a “built green” training house each year which they sell to the local YMCA to use as their annual Dream Home Lottery fundraiser.
The 2010 home is an EQuilibrium™ Demonstration House, an initiative of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. Follow its progress at www.greendreamhome.ca.
