The Canadian Earth Institute takes a fun, personally meaningful and inclusive approach to environmental awareness and protection. Why wait until tomorrow when we can create the world we want today? We generate positive environmental change through a complimentary set of discussion courses (Sustainable Systems at Work, Global Warming: Changing CO2urse, Menu for the Future, Voluntary Simplicity, Choices for Sustainable Living, Re-Connecting with Earth, Discovering a Sense of Place, Healthy Children, Healthy Planet), hands-on workshops (Introduction to Cob Building, Permaculture Design, Water Conservation and Recycling) and community outreach activities (Effective Leadership, ENGOs Working Together, Colwood Community Cob Oven). Our work is based on personal transformation, cooperation and working with community for the benefit of our world.
