The purpose of the seminar is to provide participants with an overview understanding of the markets, the players, the services involved, the regulatory and other drivers, the latest developments, the timing and approximate size of the market. The seminar will cover international, Canadian, BC and Alberta GHG markets through interactive discussions and a few case study examples.
The seminar will show participants how to prepare a GHG inventory or in colloquial terms, how to calculate a carbon footprint. Participants can expect to gain a sound overview and some background references from taking this course as well as have some concrete examples they can bring back to their trade or business. They will leave with an idea of how to contribute to GHG reductions and how to get involved in the market.
