i-Go Car Free Day is a free, outdoor festival celebrating International Car Free Day on Saturday September 25 from 12-4 pm downtown Kelowna in Kerry Park and on Bernard Ave, Mill St and Abbott St. There will be all kinds of outdoor events like road hockey, BMX and skateboard demos, bike trials, roller derby demos, short films, Kidz Zone and tons of fun activities like yoga, bootcamp, gymnastics, karate, climbing wall and dog training. Plus, there will be tons of merchants and local bike shops to get you enthused about active lifestyles.
This event is celebrated around the world to promote alternative transportation choices and enjoy fun, community wide events focused education to reduce vehicle usage, pollution, noise and improve safety and air quality.
