Please join us for the Gorge Waterway Cleanup! This is a great opportunity for people who share a love for the environment and specifically our local waters to get together for a morning of environmental and community action. The BGCA would therefore like to invite you to lend a hand in this year's cleanup effort. what that means is ...WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We will be cleaning up the Gorge Waterway between the Bay St. Bridge and the Tillicum St. Bridge. Most volunteers will be gathering the debris on foot, and a crew of volunteer divers will be gathering debris from within the ocean.
Volunteers are needed in the following ways:• Gorge Waterway Cleanup Crew members
• Scuba diving team members
• Boat driving team members
• Site set-up crew members
• Volunteer check-in assistants
• Photo waiver signing assistants
• Glove sign-out assistants
• Boot sign-out assistants
• First Aid attendants
• Recycling area assistants
• Raffle assistants
• Site break-down crew members
• Food and refreshment area assistants
• BBQ crew assistants
