The University of Victoria Environmental Studies Students' Association (ESSA) will be hosting an undergraduate conference on the theme of sustainability.
The conference has drawn many interesting speakers on a number of salient issues surrounding sustainability.
The conference is by donation. Proceeds will pay for the costs of the conference and remainder will be put toward a scholarship fund for the Red Fish School of Change. Please support this great cause. Even a $5 donation makes a big difference.
The conference will begin with a keynote address (March 19) and will consist of 8 panels held over 2 days (March 20-21). We understand the multi-disciplinary nature of this topic and are open to receiving any submissions that relate to sustainability. Panelists should plan to give a 20 minute presentation followed by questions at the end of the panel.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Michael Pickering at bardic@uvic.ca or by calling 250-882-3794.
