Lora will explain what sustainable landscape design is, what chemical gardening really does to our soils, and how you can garden using organic methods and sustainable practices in your own outdoor spaces. An outdoor space can be as small as few planters on your balcony and as large as you can imagine.
Lora is the Principal Designer and Founder of Urban Eden Design. She is an Organic Master Gardener and has been formally trained in design. Lora loves design that is functional and creative. She believes that the most incredible outdoor spaces have a balance between being "wild and free" and being "restrained", creating a natural rustic elegance. Lora is a member of SOUL (Society of Organic Urban Landcare) as well as a member of the Surrey White Rock Pesticide Free Group.
