The Victoria Chapter traditionally undertakes a field trip in August, in lieu of our regular meeting.This years field trip will be to the beautiful Elkington Forest.
That trip will take place on Saturday, 22nd, from 10am - 2pm. We'll meet at the Town and Country Shopping Center and car pool up island, motoring off at 9:00. Space is limited so please contact Nadia Ariff (nadiakatrina@gmail.com) to register as soon as you can. There's no cost.
Elkington Forest is part of the Living Forest Communities' development model that accomplishes two goals. Primarily, they establish and maintain sustainable natural forest ecosystems in perpetuity through land conservation and ecosystem-based forestry. They achieve this objective through the creation of attractive, "light-on-the-land" residential hamlets modeled after traditional European towns.
