How can the Capital Regional District diversify its energy supply to tackle climate change? You are invited to a presentation of the technologies and policies that can divesify the Capital Regional District's energy supply. With the signing of the Climate Action Charter local municipalities are exploring their options to address climate change and energy issues. This presentation is designed to help the CRD and its member municipalities find their way through this complex issue to find environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable energy solutions. The presentation has been developed by an interdisciplinary class of Environmental Studies and Mechanical Engineering students that have spent the fall term preparing a broad report for the CRD. After the presentation there will be time for discussion and networking.
