Local Chapters

The BCSEA's Regional Chapters are active in communities across BC, developing projects and organizing events.

The BCSEA has eight active Chapters spanning the province: Central Interior, Comox Valley, Kamloops, Okanagan, South Peace, Vancouver, Victoria and West Kootenay. The public is welcome to attend meetings and is encouraged to support their local Chapter by joining the BCSEA.

As a provincial organization working to empower local communities, we encourage members to establish Chapters where they live. We can help guide you through this process, and will support your enthusiasm with our administrative and moral support. Central Interior

The Central Interior Chapter promotes the use of sustainable energy solutions within the community and provides a forum to learn about sustainable energy and exchange ideas and knowledge. The Chapter actively welcomes any and all interested people to our regular scheduled meetings.

Comox Valley

The Comox Valley Chapter of BCSEA meets irregularly depending on events or speakers availability. Check our Events listing to get details. If you live in the Comox Valley area or anywhere in the North Island coastal region please consider joining our Chapter. We hope you will join us.

Kamloops

The Kamloops Chapter has been active in our community since 2004, advocating for sustainable energy solutions and raising awareness about climate change. Please check our events listing for upcoming meetings and events.

Okanagan

The Okanagan Chapter works to encourage individuals, home owners, businesses and all levels of government to implement sustainable energy solutions for their energy requirements. Please check our events listing for the date of our next meeting.

South Peace

The South Peace Chapter provides information about sustainable energy, energy efficiency and conservation of energy to interested residents, local government, and students. Please check our Events listing for the date and venue of our next meeting and other events.

Vancouver

The Greater Vancouver chapter was the first BCSEA chapter to become a full chapter in June 2005. The chapter holds meetings on the first Wednesday of the month, with guest speakers on a variety of Sustainable Energy topics. All interested members of the public are welcome to attend.

Victoria

The Victoria Chapter typically meets on the third Monday of each month, between 7:00 and 9:30pm, to discuss energy issues, plan activities and educate each other. For upcoming and recent events please see our events listing.

West Kootenay

The West Kootenay Chapter was formed in July, 2007 and has held a number of great events and meetings since then. The West Kootenay chapter meets at Selkirk College, Castlegar, on the third Wednesday of each month. Everyone is welcome.
