Sea Breeze Power Corp. is a leading developer of renewable energy in British Columbia, specifically wind energy, which is the world's fastest growing energy sector. The company is also pursuing other opportunities including "run of river" hydro, energy storage in the form of the Vanadium-Redox battery system, High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission, and stand-alone power systems for off-grid communities. Sea Breeze Power Corp. was the first in British Columbia to receive an Environmental Assessment Certificate from the provincial government for their most developed wind site, which is called the Knob Hill Wind Farm. The proposed wind farm is permitted for 450 megawatts - enough energy to power 135,000 households.
