Recycle your Cell Phone to support the Climate Change Showdown

The Climate Change Showdown Needs your Old Cell Phones!

We are fundraising to support the BCSEA's Climate Change Showdown education program. All donated cell phones will be purchased by CellCycle.ca who will recycle them for parts or for repair for re-use.

CellCycle will pay the Climate Change Showdown depending on the value of the phone. To find out the value of your old cell phone see: CellCycle Pricelist

We are collecting cell phones, smartphones, tablets, digital cameras, GPS devices and netbook/notebook computers.

How to donate

By Mail:

• Please click here to make a customised postage paid mailing label from Canada Post or just print this label and fill it out by hand.(use our claim form below)
• Please write c/o BCSEA in the from box so that the money is donated to BCSEA
• Print and complete the Claim Form (BCSEA) and enclose it with your cell phones
• Remember to include your battery and charger, remove your SIM and memory cards and erase contacts
• Can't access the postage paid label? Mail your old phones, using the correct postage, to:
  CellCycle.ca, c/o BCSEA, Purchasing, 94 Bayfield Street, Barrie, ON, LM4 3A8

Pick-up/Drop off:

For larger amounts (over 50) and depending on the region we can arrange a pick up. Please email bcseacellcycle@gmail.com

If you are in Vancouver you may drop off your phone (Attn: BCSEA) at The HiVE, Suite 210-128 Hastings St. from 9-5:30pm.

We are looking for drop off locations across the Province in Universities/Community centres and so on, so please contact us if you can help us to collect!
