From energy-efficient heating/cooling system to affordable thermal insulating window coating products, we aim to revolutionize the way Canadian homes and businesses are built and maintained and to provide real solutions for a healthy, comfortable, green lifestyle. Founder Matthew Yoshitake will explain about how the FIRST (Far Infrared Thermal System) technology of the show home works to achieve zero emissions.

This first Metro Vancouver People’s Assembly on Climate Justice will begin a series of Assemblies to build a strong and effective Climate Justice movement in the Lower Mainland. We will advance real solutions while taking action against megaprojects in our region that increase greenhouse gas emissions. We will also be building the global movement for Climate Justice.This Assembly is part of the December 7 global day of action called by Via Campesina.

Once a month, a leader of the green/business/non-profit hosts an informal discussion about opportunities and innovative approaches for the business community to move towards sustainability. The great folks at ING provide delicious organic appetizers or sushi and refreshments to enhance our discussions!

Kids for Climate Action is non-violent, non-partisan rally organized by kids for kids (and their parent chaperones for the little ones).

It's true that the kids will inherit the earth - but we don't want to inherit climate change. In the lead-up to the next United Nations Climate Change Conference, the students of Vancouver will have their voices heard.

Come out to help remind our leaders that they have a responsibility to our generation to solve this problem.

Mass Direct Action against Climate Crime on Sunday October 10, 2010

Join the 350.org 10/10/10 Global Work Party to stop global warming. In the Lower Mainland join the party and work to bag sand from the proposed South Fraser Freeway to raise the dykes protecting nearby communities.
