Established in April 2008 with a $25 million grant from the BC government, BC Bioenergy Network (BCBN) is an industry-led association that acts as a catalyst for deploying near-term bioenergy technologies and organizing mission-driven research for the development and demonstration of sustainable technologies to build a world class bioenergy capability in BC.

YesBC is an grassroots leadership program, dedicated to increasing awareness and finding solutions to critical environmental issues by inspiring and empowering youth to take action - it is todays' youth who are leading the way to a sustainable future. Quality programming in schools provides students with the tools, skills and necessary ongoing support to be environmental leaders. YesBC models a collaborative approach that facilitates community engagement and youth mobilization. YesBC has been introduced to over 4,000 BC youth, through workshops, conferences, assemblies and various environmental events.

The Climate Change Showdown is an innovative educational program designed for elementary school classrooms. BC sustainable Energy association educators deliver workshops featuring three main elements: a video and talk that provides an understanding of the science of climate change, an interactive board game that encourages students to connect choices made today with future outcomes, and a take-home contest that challenges students and their families to take measurable actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

BCSEA's Clean Energy Classrooms provides a one-stop resource portal for people interested in training and education options related to sustainable energy in Canada. Though links to colleges, universities, industry leaders, non-profit organizations, government initiatives, and First Nations groups, students can learn how to start their careers in the alternative energy field.

The Victoria Car Share Co-op offers high quality and reliable car sharing services for residents, businesses and organizations throughout Greater Victoria. Through a cooperative model, the organization offers a practical, green, economical, and convenient alternative to private car ownership. We have 20 cars, trucks, mini-vans, and hybrids throughout the Greater Victoria region, and our 450 members can use car sharing vehicles throughout the province through roaming agreements with the four other BC based car sharing organizations.

Canadian Home Builders Association Central Interior is a not for profit member-driven industry organization comprised of builders, developers, suppliers and professionals related to the home building industry. At close to 200 members, CHBA CI is one of the largest Locals in the province.
