Join in the 2010 Solar Days fun on May 28, 29 and take your friends and family on an interactive Solar Tour of installs in your neighbourhood!
View SolarBC's Google map for over 38 solar tour site destinations and click on the arrow for directions to the house. Once there, you can gain first hand experience from homeowners who've installed solar hot water. Find out about their install and see how their system works. And while you're there pick up some free Solar Days giveaways and SolarBC information material.
Each of our official Solar Communities will be hosting one or more public events for Solar Days, from a two-day expo in Kelowna to North Vancouver solar tours and a Tofino beach day that will showcase their recently installed Cox Bay solar hot water showers. Vancouver is our newest official SolarBC Solar Community, and the city will be taking the public on tours of the Net Zero Building in the Olympic Village.

"The search for alternative and renewable energy sources is more prevailing and urgent as ever. In light of climate change increasing at a threatening pace, our planet is in major danger. It is our duty to do everything in our means to come to peace with nature."
-Gert Pöttering, President of European Parliament during Solar Week 2009 opening speech.
