Offsetters' Morgan McDonald
Morgan McDonald, Director of Sourcing for Offsetters, provided an entertaining and thorough presentation on how a carbon offset project gets developed. The talk covered areas such as quality, additionality, and net positive impact on the climate and community.
It was very interesting to learn about the perceived and actual faults in various offset systems and how offsets can and do play a role in the climate goals for BC.
Morgan provided actual examples of carbon offset projects managed by Offsetters that are making a real difference to the emissions and environmental goals for his clients, and all of BC and Canada.
