Geothermal for the Homeowner
Chris Koch will speak about geothermal installations at the October 17 meeting
of BC Sustainable Energy Association (BCSEA Kamloops Chapter). The
public is welcome to attend. The meeting takes place at TRU International
Building room 1007, starting at 7:00 pm. Chris will provide an introduction
to how geothermal works, what the homeowner needs to look for, how the work
is done, and what questions the homeowner should ask an installer.
Chris is a Professional Engineer having done Masters Studies in Sustainable
Development and is the owner of Kamloops-based Shine Energy Systems, Inc.
Shine Energy Systems provides residential geothermal design and installation
services and will have a booth at the Kamloops Fall Home Show October 12-14.
Homeowners can talk to Chris there, too.
Following Chriss talk at the October 17 meeting, BCSEA members will
report on the May 27 Energy Fair and plans for next years fair.
